Jeffrey Darrel Neese, age 51, of Belton died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at his home following a brief battle with cancer. Services and burial will be held at a later date.
Mr. Neese was born on April 11, 1959 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Darrel J. and Katie A. (Zenor) Neese. The family moved to Nebraska in 1962. Jeff grew up in Belden, Nebraska and graduated from Randolph (Nebraska) High School in 1977. He married Tona Hansen and they relocated to Texas in 1991. Throughout his life he worked in roofing, electrical and other areas of the construction field. He enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his wife and daughters.
He was preceded in death by his father, Darrel J. Neese in 1994 and his mother-in-law, Nelsene Hansen in 1997. Survivors include his wife, Tona Neese, daughters, Jill Pruett and husband, Kyle, Katie and Carly Neese and one granddaughter, Jaden Anderson all of Belton; his mother and stepfather, Katie and Kearney Lackas of Belden, Nebraska, sisters, Teri Wendel and husband, Greg of Norfolk, Nebraska and Nancy Lenhoff and husband, Russ of Omaha, Nebraska and father-in-law, Allen Hansen of Wayne, Nebraska. Also surviving are his brothers-in-law, Don Hansen of Central City, Nebraska and Marty Hansen of Phoenix, Arizona and several nieces and nephews.
